As we all know the internet is a very big place and when a new movie gets released its very difficult to watch the movie for free online because if you are anything like me you get fed up filling out stupid surveys, getting sent round in circles and being given dead links that lead to no where so what i will try to do here is give you the best places online where you can watch all the latest movies and not only that provide you with specific locations where your chosen movie is being shown for free for you to watch. Also if your anything like me then you will probably want to stay up to date with the latest movies and releases. Theres always new movies being advertised and usually if theres a good chance that the movie is going to be a box office smash hit then we find out many months before hand about the movie so we can keep an eye out for the movies being shown online.

As much as all the new movies are usually what most people have there sights set on watching, there are still many classic films that will always be those types of films where it doesnt matter how many times you watch it, you still enjoy it…. you know what i mean the films like rocky, rambo, oceans 11, 12 and 13 those are just a few of my favourites that i usually watch at least a couple of times a year as they usually get shown on tv every so often.

They may not be your type of movies and thats fine but what i will do is i will occassionally post some movie links for some classic films. I will find lots of different types of movies from action, war, romance, comedy, thrillers, martial arts and many more so if you also like to watch the classics then you will be able to find some here for sure.

One thing i will say that i hear many people talk about around the web is the picture quality of some of the free movies that you want to watch. I will put it in simple terms….. some are excellent some are bad and some are terrible and if the links that i provide you dont work then i apologise but at the time of making the posts they all work fine, if that is the case then all you have to do is spend a few minutes looking through some of the versions so that you find the best possible quality movie that you want to watch. Lastly if you play a movie and it keeps buffering then simply leave it for a while and come back a short while later, you may think its a pain in the butt to have to do this but if a cool new movie comes out and the quality is really good then waiting for a short while  for it to buffer is a small price to pay for you being able to watch the film for free and before it even gets released dont you think?

There are many movie sites out there which currently provide free movie streaming but the quality varies as you now know and depending which site you go to so finding your chosen movie is one thing but finding it in good quality is much harder so i will be saving you time by providing you with the best places to go to watch your movie so check back on a regular basis to see what new movie reviews are available and the best quality places you watch them online for free.

Source Code is necessary for programming a computer, but what about as a movie? Billed as a sci-fi thriller, is it truly a quantum leap of movie-making? Or should Source Code just another Groundhog Day film gon sci-fi? Let’s take a look at the movie, and find out if it’s “go see” or a “pass it by”.

Source Code Beginning

Have you ever woken up from a vivid dream and not remember for a second who you are or what you’ve been doing? If so, you know what Captain Colter Stevens (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) feels like. He’s woken up inside the body of a man by the name of Sean Fentress, who is on a train and doesn’t know how he got there. He meets Christina (played by Michelle Monaghan) but it’s a short-lived relationship because the train blows up.

Colter wakes up and sees Colleen Goodwin (played by Vera Farmiga), who is part of a military experiment called Source Code. She explains that the project allows Colter to experience the last 8 minutes of a person’s life by actually taking it over.

Is 8 Minutes Enough?

The train Colter was on was blown up by a bomber/terrorist who not only hid the bomb on the train, but has threatened to detonate a nuclear device at an undisclosed place in Chicago. Colter’s mission is to keep going back to those last 8 minutes of being Sean Fentress to find that bomb…and the bomber who placed it there. If Colter can do that, the military can find the nuclear device and disarm it before it kills millions of people.

Source Code 2011 Movie Review

The Plot Thickens

Since Colter ends up in the Source Code chamber and is debriefed after every mission, he starts finding out bits and pieces about why he was chosen for the experiment. Not only is Colter very similar in looks to Sean, but Colter died during the war in Afghanistan. The project creator, Dr. Rutledge (played by Jeffrey Wright), claims that the leaps back in time are merely a simulation, and that Colter can’t change anything in the past. Colter doesn’t quite believe that.

Although he wants out and is ready to die a second time, Colter changes his mind after hearing an interview involving his father (played by Scott Bakula), Colter decides to go forward, complete the mission and somehow save Christina in the process.

Leap of Faith

So, is Source Code an action-packed thriller worth watching…or it is merely a film that makes you think Quantum Leap meets Groundhog Day?

The word from both the critics and movie-goers is that Source Code is a cut above the films that have been out recently, and is a definite go-see. Jake Gyllenhaal does a great job as Captain Colter Stevens, and the movie has plots twists and turns enough to keep you guessing at times. If you like sci fi and/or thrillers, you’ll like Source Code.

Would we want to watch the movie Limitless…or would we pass and see if there was anything more interesting to see or do? Let’s find out!

No Limits

The movie revolves around the idea that there is a drug that can help us use more of our brain. Sure, we use all parts of our brain at one point or another, but not all at once. The movie’s main character Eddie Morra (played by Bradley Cooper) discovers what happens when we access our capabilities…and why we might not want to try.

Eddie is your typical underachiever – he’s got the talent, but lacks the focus to use it well. Eddie’s a writer who isn’t getting his book done, and whose girlfriend dumps him. While things are going downhill, Eddie bumps into Vernon Grant (played by Johnny Whitworth) who happens to be Eddie’s ex-wife’s brother. Vernon, who deals drugs, tells Eddie that he has a sample of something new, called NZT-48. And would Eddie like to try it?

Heck yes! Eddie takes the (illegal drug) sample and finds that it makes him smarter and more focused. Eddie wants more, and Vernon agrees to give it to him. Unfortunately for Vernon, the NZT-48 was his death warrant. When Eddie goes to Vernon’s apartment and finds him dead, he also finds Vernon’s stash (along with some cash and a notebook full of names that’s somehow related to the drug).

Are There Limits?

With a supply of NZT-48, Eddie decides to ditch his writing career in favor of the stock market – where he becomes very rich indeed. And as you might guess, his girlfriend Lindy (played by Abbie Cornish) comes back to him as well. Life is good…right?

Maybe not. There’s a problem with the NZT-48, and one of the side effects is that he gets memory lapses. And one memory lapse might have been fatal to the woman he was with, who is now dead. Eddie doesn’t know if he killed her. And to make matters worse, he’s running out of the drug and the withdrawal symptoms are along the lines of losing his intelligence or death. Neither is very appealing, so Eddie goes to great length to find someone who can reverse-engineer the drug for him. What’s a guy to do?

Limitless – See It or Pass?

The critics and audiences were more or less in agreement with Limitless; it was a good movie, but not outstanding. The plot uses a few too many stereotypes, so some parts are pretty predictable. Audiences tended to like it more than the critics.

Bradley Cooper did a terrific job with the role of Eddie, so if you liked Bradley in his previous movie (“Faceman” in The A Team), you’ll like him here as well.

Should you go see Limitless? If you like suspense movies, you’ll probably want to buy yourself a ticket, get yourself some popcorn and enjoy!

The Opening Plot

You soon find out how this movie got its name, and it’s because lawyer Mickey Haller (played by Matthew McConaughey) uses the back of a Lincoln automobile as his office. He’s a defense attorney and he’s mostly worked with small-time criminals who always claim to be innocent.

However, Mickey is about to get a case that may just change his career, and that’s when a California playboy by the name of Louis Roulet (played by Ryan Phillippe) is accused of beating up a prostitute.

Like all in his position, Louis says he’s innocent, and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Mickey has his investigator Frank Levin (played by William H. Macy) sniff around and see what he can come up with, regarding Louis’s claims.

Frank discovers that the case is similar to another of Mickey’s past cases, where the defendant Jesus Martinez (played by Michael Pena) was jailed for a murder he says he never committed. And part of the reason that he’s in prison is because Mickey urged him to plead guilty in order not to receive a death sentence. Whoops.

The Movie Continues

The plot twists somewhat when Mickey sees Jesus getting upset when he was shown a photo of Louis; could he indeed be the murderer? And to make matters worse, Frank is killed after leaving a message on Mickey’s voice mail about finding something that could set Jesus free.

Now Mickey is faced with an unjustly jailed client (Jesus), a dead investigator (Frank) and is now a suspect in Frank’s murder. Things are definitely not looking good for Mickey.

Despite growing misgivings about Louis’s innocence, Mickey ends up defending him anyway, and lands Louise a not guilty verdeict. However, that doesn’t mean Louis is off the hook; some of the testimony was used to issue an arrest warrant for Louise in another case.

Should You See The Lincoln Lawyer?

Audiences and critics seem to like this movie. Matthew McConaughey does a great job as Mickey Haller, and the movie is fast-paced enough to keep you interested for the 1 hour and 59 minute run time. So if you like either crime dramas or McConaughey, then definitely go see The Lincoln Lawyer.

As the Movie Begins…

The aliens arrive in ships that at first appear to be meteorites, that end up splashing down in various spots around the globe, including Los Angeles. The aliens are hostile, naturally, and they want what we have (the Earth).

Enter the military, who are sent to exterminate the aliens and take back the city. Marine Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz (played by Aaron Eckhart) was about ready to retire when he was sent into action, and has a whole new platoon to worry about. Not to mention dealing with the Platoon Commander, Second Lieutenant William Martinez (played by Ramon Rodriguez).

The platoon’s mission is to rescue come civilians who are holed up in an LAPD police station. OK, that’s bad enough, but they’ve been given a three-hour window of time to get the people out. Why three hours? That’s because the Air Force plans to bomb the whole area to kingdom come!

The Rescue Starts

After the Marines commandeer a bus to go in and rescue the people, they learn some important pieces of information about their opponents. One, the aliens have a soft spot on their torsos, which can be taken advantage of. Next, those alien aircraft are really just drones, so destroying the craft doesn’t mean destroying the aliens themselves.

However, it does seem to mean that there is some kind of command center, and if the military can locate it, they can take out a large number of the aliens.

The Plot Continues

Staff Sergeant Nantz ends up in command of the platoon when Second Lieutenant Martinez sacrifices himself to save some of the civilians and kill some bad guys. Nantz and his team think they found the command center, and call in an air strike. Too late! Their own command center was taken out by the aliens before they could issue the bombing orders.

It does not look good for Nantz and his platoon, the civilians, Los Angeles or even the earth! But wait, are there heroes present? You betcha; the Marines don’t have their reputation for nothing!

Should You See the Movie?

Critics and Audiences had different reactions to Battle Los Angeles. The critics? Well, they trashed the movie, saying it was like a hundred other sci-fi alien attack movies. Audiences were a little kinder, but it’s safe to say this film won’t be a movie classic. If you’re really into sci-fi alien attack films, then you probably will enjoy Battle Los Angeles. If you’re not, then you may want to pass on this movie.

Desert Drifter

Our star the chameleon (played by Johnny Depp) drifts into town, calling himself “Rango”. The town’s name is Dirt, and it’s inhabited by a motley crew of animals including a snake, tortoise, armadillo, moles and a whole bunch of other four (and more) legged desert creatures.

Rango, you see, is suffering from an identity crisis. All his life, he’s been the family pet. Now separated from his family, he’s trying on a new identity – that of a hero. Little does he know how much trouble he’s about to get into!

Dirt, you see, is in the middle of a water crisis. And as the town decided that the “tough-guy drifter” named Rango is the one for the job, he’s about to discover where the water has gone.

The Plot Thickens

Rango runs afoul of the Mayor of Dirt (played by Net Beatty), who initially called him a hero after Rango accidentally kills the hawk that terrorizes the town. The Mayor names Rango as the town Sheriff, but that only allows our hero to discover the unsavory side to the Mayor.

The Mayor eventually runs Rango out of town; as Rango leaves in disgrace, he begins to wonder who he really is. Is he a chameleon with a dream, or is he really a hero? And to answer that question, he needs the Spirit of the West (played by Timothy Olyphant). Spirit tells Rango that he can’t walk out on his own story, and convinces Rango to return to Dirt, where he promptly challenges Jake the snake (played by Bill Nighy) to a duel.

There’s plenty more, and in the end, Rango does find out who he is, and who he is, is a hero.

Should You (and the Kids) See Rango?

The majority of the movie-goers said this would be fine for older kids, but not for the under 9 crowd. While this is an animated movie (which normally would target kids), it’s really more geared to an adult audience.

So, if you have young ones in tow, you may want to give Rango a pass (unless you leave the kids with a babysitter and go see the movie yourself). On the other hand, if you don’t need to worry about youngsters, then go on and see Rango for a lighthearted good time.

As the Movie Opens…

The main character in this movie is Dr. Martin Harris, played by Liam Neeson. He and his wife Liz (played by January Jones) are in Berlin for a conference. Arriving at the hotel after their flight, Martin realizes that his briefcase is nowhere to be found. He finds a cab and asks to be taken back to the airport.

So far so good, but that’s the last time Martin was in this world (so to speak). This is because the cab he hailed is about to have an accident. Trying to avoid a refrigerator falling off a truck ahead of her, taxi driver Gina (played by Diane Kruger) swerves and ends up going off a bridge into a river.

Martin is knocked unconscious, but Gina saves him, then mysteriously disappears. Martin’s in a coma, and that is just the beginning of his problems!

How’s Your Memory?

When Martin wakes up from his 4-day coma and his world is not the way he left it. Back at the hotel, Liz has no idea who he is, and another man (played by Adian Quinn) says that he is the real Dr. Martin Harris.

Nonplussed, the real Martin (Neeson) heads on over to speak with Professor Bressler (played by Sebastian Koch), who he knows professionally. Martin sees the professor with the other Martin (Quinn – hereafter referred to as “Martin 2″). Trying to unravel the mystery only makes it deeper – Martin 2 shows him family photos, only they show Martin 2′s face.

Still following along? Well, the plot gets even more complicated, because it turns out that Martin really isn’t who he thinks he is…instead, he’s a terrorist, who has gone to the conference to assassinate one of the presenters.

You see, when Martin was in the car accident, his memory really was lost, and only his most recent memories – of being someone called Dr. Martin Harris – remain with him. He finally finds Liz, and she confirms that he really is someone else. The only way he can solve the riddle of who he is, is by finding that briefcase.

Needless to say, Martin finds out, but there are a lot of plot twists and turns along the way to that discovery.

Should You See Unknown?

Critics and audiences have a little different take on this particular movie. The critics weren’t happy with it, feeling it was just a confusing movie. The audiences were happier (apparently they weren’t as easily confused as the critics were).

If you like suspense drama, it’s a movie you may want to go and see. If you don’t like complicated plot twists, though, you may want to pass. In any case, the word is that Neeson does a good job in the movie.

In the Beginning

Matt Damon plays a politician by the name of David Norris. David is running for the US Senate, and while he had been doing well in the polls, he’s now fallen behind. In fact, so far behind that he’s rehearsing his concession speech! He’s in a public location and thinks he’s alone, but a pretty ballet dancer by the name of Elise Sellas (played by Emily Blunt) overhears him and encourages David not to throw in the towel yet. Instead, she says to just be himself and speak from the heart.

David does just that at his next speaking engagement; he goes off his script and his speech ends up being wildly successful. So successful that he’s now the leading candidate in the senate race!

Shortly thereafter on a bus, David runs into Elise again. Attracted to each other, Elise gives him her phone number and David continues on into work (a venture capital firm run by his campaign manager). He’s early, and is surprised to see his manager apparently “frozen” and strangers looking him over. David, meet the Adjustment Bureau.

What Happens Next

This is the start of David’s introduction into a world where free will and predestination collide. As he learns about what the Bureau does from Richardson (played by John Slattery), he begins to wonder if what he thinks are decisions are really his own.

David is determined to see Elise again, and Richardson informs him that he was only supposed to meet her the once. By seeing her on the bus, the Bureau’s plans for him (to be President of the United States) have been jeopardized. As has Elise’s dancing career. What’s a guy to do?

David decides he doesn’t want anyone making his decisions, and is determined to see Elise again. The only problem is how long it takes for him to catch up with her. They finally do connect and that’s when the Bureau shows up again.

While in the end David and Elise are together, what happens in the meanwhile is a blend of drama, action and science fiction that perhaps raises more questions than it answers.

Should You See The Adjustment Bureau?

Interestingly, the critics and audiences agree on their feelings on this movie – it’s worth seeing. While it has some weak moments, overall the movie is a satisfying experience.

The movie also does make you think about the choices we make…and if it’s really we that make those decisions.

Main Characters

The star of this movie is Arthur Bishop, who is played by actor Jason Statham. Bishop is a killer-for-hire, and he is very, very good. His specialty is making his hits look like everyday incidents – accidents or natural causes being top of the list. And as the movie opens, we see his first contract killing – a wealthy man swimming in his own private pool, with armed guards present. Yes, Bishop pulls it off, and escapes to safety.

One of Bishop’s closest friends is Harry McKenna, played by Donald Sutherland. So naturally Bishop is aghast when he finds his next contract is Harry! It seems that there was a mission in South Africa that went bad and only two people knew about it (Harry being one, and Bishop’s boss being the other). Harry got money as a trade for the contract details, so it’s his turn to die.

Bishop isn’t happy about it, but he does the contract and kills Harry, making it look like a carjacking gone bad. Meanwhile, Harry’s son, Steve McKenna (played by Ben Foster) is enraged over his father’s murder and wants to find and kill a carjacker as revenge.

And the Plot of The Mechanic Thickens…

Steve does go in search of a carjacker and finds one, but before Steve can kill him, Bishop intervenes. However, Bishop is intrigued by what Steve has done and takes him as a protegee of sorts, to show him what a “mechanic” (i.e. assassin) does.

So, Bishop takes Steve out on a contract, so he can see for himself what it’s like. Bishop strangles his hit, then stages it to look like an accidental asphyxiation. Then to train Steve further, Bishop explains the planning to takes to pull a hit off and make it appear to be an accident.

As you can imagine, there are yet more contracts for Bishop, and Steve gets more training along the way (in addition to being close to getting killed himself during the course of a contract). And what happens in the end is likely to surprise you!

Should You See The Mechanic?

Critics and audiences are about on the same wavelength for this movie; decent enough, but nothing to write home about. Or to put it another way, it’s definitely worth a matinee price ticket for almost anyone, but worth full price for only those who are into mayhem, or if you liked the original (because you’ll probably like this remake, too).

By all accounts, though, Jason Statham does a creditable job as a “mechanic”, the role that Charles Bronson had played in the 1972 version. Good work, Jason!

The Story Premise

The premise of the story is that Frank (played by Johnny Depp) is an American tourist to Paris who is mistaken for Alexander Pearce, a man whom he resembles…and who has a rather large price on this head. The matter isn’t helped any by Elise (played by Angelina Jolie), because she is the root cause of Frank’s mistaken identity. By getting on a train and picking him out for a dalliance, Elise has put Frank in the center of a growing web of intrigue.

The train is on its way from Paris to Venice, and Frank falls for Elise. Elise, on the other hand, is only doing what she is told; to make the people who are following her think that Frank is Alexander. But it’s the kiss that seals Frank’s fate (in more ways than one).

The Plot of The Tourist Thickens

The plot to The Tourist gets ever more complex. Strange men break into Frank’s hotel room in Venice, and Frank escapes, only to be caught by the Italian police. Elise rescues him, only to reveal that she is a British secret agent, working under cover.

From there, it gets complicated, with various sub-plots involving Frank, Elsie and Alexander. Not to mention a large sum of money that everyone wants to get their hands on! In the end, however, the money is restored to its rightful owner, and Frank and Elise sail off, together.

Should You Pay a Visit to The Tourist?

As seems the case with many movies, the critics and the moviegoers are somewhat at odds. The film has been nominated for Golden Globe awards, although the nominators had a hard time what category to put this movie into! They finally decided that this movie fit best into the “Musical or Comedy” category.

The Tourist was a box-office success, but a lot of that seemed to be fans of Jolie and Depp wanting to see them on screen. The people coming out of the movie gave it a so-so rating.

Should you pay a visit to The Tourist? If you are a fan of either Depp or Jolie, or are looking for something a little out of the ordinary (remember, comedy/drama/thriller), then you may enjoy this movie.
